우리 나란히 서 있는 나무가 되기로 해요

뿌리를 깊게 뻗어 넘어지지 않는 나무가 되기로 해요

작은 새들이 쉬어 갈 수 있는 큰 나무가 되기로 해요

Let us become big trees for the little birds to take a rest on

 

너는 봄이면 가지를 뻗어 꽃을 피우고

In Spring, you stretch out your branches to blossom flowers

나는 바람이 불면 예쁜 소리를 내야지

When the wind blows, I will produce pretty sound

가을이 되면 함께 코트를 입어 같은 색을 내고

In Fall, let us wear coats together to show the same color

겨울이 되어도 서로의 곁을 지켜 줘야지
